Class Minutes, Fri. April 30th

Today we read a short Pourquoi story: A Coyote Tale from the Pueblo Indians. In groups of three, we narrated and silently acted it out, each student taking a role. After, we acted it out with NO NARRATOR, only dialogue, followed by writing the short script. Jordan, Shane and Alfonso gave the class a special presentation with the creative aid of the Smart Board. The focus was narrative vs. dialogue. Then, we completed a character profile for our fictional character for our future Pourquoi scripts. This character is a peanut! On Tuesday, we'll present our Earth Day puppet shows.
